Curriculum is designed to produce medical lab technician with sound academic knowledge equipped with perfect technical skills in the field of health science.
Certificate In Medical Laboratory Technology(CMLT) is a healthcare career that combines advanced laboratory science with modern medical care. Analytical analysis performed in clinical laboratories by medical laboratory technician assists physicians in both the diagnosis and the treatment of pathological conditions.Medical laboratory technician perform and interpret a wide variety of tests, ranging from simple blood glucose tests to advanced molecular diagnostic assays.
The Certificate In Medical Laboratory Technology(CMLT) curriculum prepares medical laboratory technician that demonstrates professional competency in the clinical laboratory science field, including but not limited to the clinical areas of hematology, immunohematology, clinical chemistry, clinical microbiology, urinalysis, immunology/serology, and laboratory management.
While completing their Laboratory Technician courses students in the Certificate In Medical Laboratory Technology(CMLT) program gain “real world” experience in a variety of clinical settings.
The graduates will be eligible for the position equivalent to Non-gazetted 5th level (technical) as Medical Lab Technician.
